The defeated presidential candidate in the Leribe District Football Association (DIFA) Moholi Phelanyane believes the incumbent president has to vacate the office for fresh ideas.
As he conceded to the outcome of the election results on Sunday 28th March, Phelanyane said DIFA Leribe leadership needed a change. “Ntate Khiba has been there since I was kid but even today as a 34 year-old man, I have seen no change. We need change and new ideas, his ideas are stagnant,” Phelanyane said.
“There was a time we had many clubs in the elite league, Linare FC, Mpharane Celtic FC, Joy FC and Nyenye Rovers FC, but now we have only two clubs in the premier league.” he added.
Phelanyane concluded by saying he will come back after four years because he wants change for betterment of Leribe football.
