Sefothafotha appoints Nalana
Mr Nthako Nalana will be the new Sefothafotha Football Club head coach after the departure of Mr Molebatsi Mothobi, who parted ways with the club on Monday.
The management of the team convened on Wednesday to decide who was going to lead the club. On the same day the office of communications revealed that assistant coach Nthako Nalana was going to lead the club assisted by former player Tšokolo Solomon Lefuma, goalkeeper coach Lerato Mokheba and retired captain Reekelitsoe Mphosi.
Mr Nalana became interim head coach of LMPS FC in 2017 after head coach Mosito Matela left the club and joined Matlama FC. He did not have good time as he left the team before the end of the season.
Before he was assistant coach at Sefothafotha FC, Nalana was Swallows FC head coach where he helped them avoid relegation in their last game when they defeated LCS FC in the last game of 2018/19 season.
Club’s communications office told reporters that the management of the team decided to remove Mr Mothobi from his position as head coach and appoint Mr Nalana not the other way round as Mr Mothobi had said when interviewed by News4u Sport on Wednesday.
